Owner and Mediator

Amber is a mediation professional and founder of Hilltop Mediation, which serves the Denver metro area. Hilltop Mediation supports families, neighbors, HOAs, and property managers to resolve disputes in a collaborative way. Amber mediates through Douglas County’s small claims and county court civil mediation program, Jefferson County Mediation Services and Court Mediation Services in Denver. She is a member of the Mediation Association of Colorado (theMAC), the Alliance for Peacebuilding and Cherry Creek Toastmasters.

Amber has worked for a range of community-based organizations, such as Urban Peak, Colorado Youth for a Change and Fundación Futuro Latinoamericano. She previously worked for conflict resolution organizations including the Organization of American States, International Peace and Security Institute, and the Center for Peacebuilding and Development. She currently serves on the board of directors for her own HOA and serves as the board of directors' secretary at Project Worthmore. She was previously the vice chair on the board of directors at Youth on Record.

Amber earned her master's degree in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University, as well as her bachelor's degree in Political Science and Spanish from Luther College. She is an avid runner and committed professional to providing alternative dispute resolution services for the Colorado community.
